About This Work
UnseenFront investigates moral and spiritual terrain in stages. We begin with baseline hypotheses and driving theses. We test them through rigorous open-source investigation and data analysis to produce an Analytical Assessment. We then deepen that work through interviews and targeted reporting in a Preliminary Investigative Report, and, where possible, carry the work into field observation and firsthand testimony in a Full Investigative Report. At every stage, we separate what is documented from what is inferred, score the emerging pattern against the Moral Disorder Index, and revisit the case as conditions change.
This is an independent analytical and investigative project. We do not have institutional positions to protect. What we have is a methodology, a moral framework, and a commitment to primary sourcing.
The Moral Disorder Index (our attempt to score the degree to which a society has lost the shared rules that hold it together, and how much of whatever order remains is enforced rather than chosen) is integrated into every product where it bears on the question.
